Lionel Prewar 1666 Steam Engine w/ 2689W Whistling Tender.

This is a Prewar Lionel 1666 Steam Engine with a 2689W whistling tender. It has been rewired with the correct wire, rebuilt reversing unit, new brushes and springs, new sliding shoes. Tender has new brushes and springs, relay has been cleaned and checked and a new center roller and correct wiring. Both items have some scratches. Both the engine and tender have been serviced in our shop. Will run on O27 track and larger curves. This engine has the squared rear cab floor which is the prewar version. Manufactured from 1938-1942. Does not include the original boxes. Please email for more pictures or if you have any questions.
